How To Apply

**Proper Surface Preparation is Imperative for Optimum Performance of this Product**

Things you will need:

• Mild soap

• 2-3 inch paintbrush

• Rainguard® Garage Floor Urethane Coating + Quick Cure

• 1/4 inch nap paint roller with an extension

• Masking paper

• Paint tray

• Tape

• Etcher

IMPORTANT: Any stains or debris such as salts, oil, gas, brake fluid, or dust may cause the coating to delaminate. Please
make sure the surface is free of any dirt and debris to ensure proper adhesion on the surface.

Clean, Prep, and Etch:
Gently brush out any stains with a soft bristle brush or rag using a mild soap. If you plan on pressure washing, make sure to remove stains first. Once the surface is clean, make sure to let it dry until it is “bone dry” to prevent any moisture from getting trapped beneath the coating. New concrete must cure a minimum of 30 days before application. Etch concrete with an etcher to allow proper adhesion. After etching, rinse the surface thoroughly and let dry until “bone dry”. Protect anything you don’t want to be sealed by moving it out of the way or covering it with a tarp or drop cloth.

Mixing:
1. Pour Rainguard® Quick Cure activator into Garage Floor Urethane Coating.
2. Stir the product 1-3 min (Consistency of product should be similar to paint.)
Please Note: Make sure to stir periodically while applying coating to ensure Slip Resist doesn’t settle to the bottom of the can.

Application:
1. Cut in or paint a 2′′ strip of Garage Floor Sealer with a paint brush on edges around area to be rolled.
2. Using a 1/4 inch nap roller apply coat of Rainguard® Garage Floor Coating to the surface.
3. Allow surface to dry, when tack-free apply 2nd coat of Rainguard® Garage Floor Coating if needed.

FAQ

Can I use this on painted concrete?

Yes, however, you will need to wait for the paint to fully cure before applying Garage Floor Urethane Coating. Refer to the paint manufacturer’s instructions for the cure times of your paint.
